It’s always nice when your efforts in life are recognised by others, especially when you’re noticed for things that you do all the time, day in and day out. The 2022 Dynamic Business Awards, a prestigious event celebrating the role of women in business throughout Sussex, was held in June and our founder Aneela Rose was delighted to not only be nominated, but also to be announced as one of the winners.
The awards ceremony took place at the glitzy Brighton Grand and was attended by a large contingent of influential women from all over the county and from a wide cross-section of industry sectors. The Inspirational Award, sponsored by financial specialists Kreston Reeves and now sitting proudly in our office, is of particular interest to Aneela, who incidentally had no idea that she’d won until her name was announced.
In her acceptance speech, she was keen to highlight the importance of inspiration, both in business and on a personal level, and to tell the audience that her initial success owed much to the inspiration of other women, given at a time when she needed it most. These days, inspiring others is what she continues to do, in the process completing a circle that has had a positive influence on so many people in recent years.
The category description, an exceptional individual who is recognised as an ambassador for women through her extraordinary dedication, personal achievements and service to others through mentorship, philanthropy and business, serves as a reminder that we can influence and inspire the people around us in everything we do and everything we say. And although Aneela has never done this for the accolades, it is of course nice when one comes along.
