Burgess Hill-based digital marketing agency Rose Media Group (RMG) held an exclusive party for its clients and friends on 7th December to mark its first birthday. RMG was created in December 2016, merging founder Aneela Rose’s eponymous PR agency and sister social media company Purple Rose Digital into one integrated Group. Around 40 people attended the party, held at RMG’s offices, and were treated to fizz, food and a spectacular 8-tiered cake covered in sugar roses.
Attendees had the chance to hear inspirational speeches from RMG founder and Managing Director, Aneela Rose about the evolution of the business, and consultant Kit Messenger, who works with the RMG team providing coaching and professional development, who challenged the guests to a mind-bending team exercise.
The party-goers were also asked to take part in the ‘Doodles for Oodles’ challenge, by doodling an image of their choice accompanied by a message for the RMG team. Each doodle received was matched by a £1 donation from RMG to its chosen charity for 2017, the Disabilities Trust. The team is volunteering at the Trust’s Burgess Hill centre this year and will use the money raised to donate a gift for the centre.
Aneela Rose commented: “It was fabulous to see so many smiley faces at our party, helping us reflect on our successes since becoming Rose Media Group. As a team, we never stand still and are always looking for the next challenge, the next discipline we can master and above all, different ways that we can help our clients to shine. It’s hard to believe it’s been a full year since we started on this latest phase of our journey, but we already have so many exciting things planned for the future and we are extremely grateful to have such a supportive network of people around us as we grow.”
