They’re so close to our agency’s heart as they’ve supported thousands of children over the past 15 years, by developing their self-confidence to empower them to thrive. Headed up by Rob Starr, it’s the perfect timing for the Starrs ‘n’ Roses to come together and is a match made in Rosy heaven. It’s more than PR, as we’ll be actively mentoring young people and providing workplace opportunities, too. Awesome news.

Rose Media packed a great big punch by being selected as a finalist in the Great British Business & Community Awards 2023! We were happy to be alongside some of the most exciting businesses in the UK! The winner of our category was a £14M t/o renewable energy company, so we are very proud indeed! Congratulations to our Rosy team. We are small and proof that size does not matter.

We couldn’t be happier to announce that we have been shortlisted for the ‘SME of the Year Award’ at this year’s Great British Business Awards. The awards recognise business achievements and promote the work of leaders and organisations across the UK and we are delighted to have been selected out of 144 nominations for this category! We will keep you all updated on the results. Until then keep everything crossed for us!

We thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic team sport at the world’s first Augmented Reality experience in Brighton last week. After expert training from the pro’s, we threw then dodged huge energy balls at one another, scoring and losing points as we raced against the clock. Brilliant way to spend an afternoon and we shall be back very soon! Thank you to HADO AR sports.

Aneela Rose was thrilled to bump into journalist and children’s writer Lucy Hawking, daughter of Stephen Hawking, on a recent trip to London. What an honour.  And, what an absolute coincidence that Aneela’s daughter’s class at school is named ‘Hawking’! This was a brief history of time when the stars truly aligned on what was the fifth anniversary of his death. Plus we met Larry, Chief Mouser at No. 10. What a day!

Aneela Rose joined other local businesses at a recent event to mark National Careers Week by sharing real life career stories and advice to Year 10 students at The Burgess Hill Academy. 44 business volunteers interacted with the students who asked questions and listened. Super atmosphere and we look forward to the next one!

This was achieved through patience, confidence and being utterly brilliant! In the past 7 weeks, we have received 11 inbound new business leads…Said NO to 5. Spoken to 6. Provided 6 proposals. Positive feedback from 3. Ghosted by 3. WON 3! Sometimes you have to say NO out of strength instead of YES out of weakness. Then go celebrate the win!

It’s Valentine’s Day today, and as you might expect this is always a special day for the Roses. To make our February even more fabulous, our much-loved mobile coffee supplier Adam came equipped with sweets and flowers this morning. It’s nice to know we’re not the only ones who are born romantics!

Team Rose was out in full magenta glory on Friday 20th January at the Burgess Hill Means Business 2023 Exhibition at The Kings Centre. We realised it’s not who you know, it’s who knows us! We made so many new connections whilst catching up with wonderfully familiar faces too… handshakes ‘n’ hugs, real connections in glorious real life!
