Aneela Rose
Aneela Rose is the Founder and Managing Director of Rose Media Group, the award-winning PR agency she founded in 2004. She is also a public speaker, Team GB powerlifter, World and British Powerlifting Champion, wife and mum of two.
Alongside running the agency, Aneela has a habit of asking “why not?” and trying things that take her well outside the ordinary, in business, sport and life.
About Aneela
Business and PR
After eight years working in-house in senior PR roles within the aviation and IT sectors, Aneela became an independent PR consultant in 2004. Within her first month she won the PR contract for Amberley Castle in West Sussex with other clients quickly following.
Within a year, she had won Anglia Ruskin University’s ‘Success in Business Award’ and the DAWN ‘Inspirational Asian Woman’ Award.
More than 20 years later, Aneela continues to lead Rose Media Group, working closely with the RMG team and clients across a wide range of sectors.
Speaking and inspiring others
Aneela uses her experiences in business, sport and life to encourage others, particularly young people, to have greater confidence in themselves and what they might be capable of.

She has been a regular contributor to Components in Electronics magazine and is on the judging panel for the Instrumentation and Electronics Industry Awards 2026.
Strength, sport and adventure
Aneela is a competitive powerlifter and Team GB athlete, winning World Championship Gold in 2018 and Silver in 2022.
In July 2026, she won silver at the British Powerlifting Championships, qualifying to represent Great Britain once again at the World Powerlifting Championships in September 2026.
But her love of lifting isn’t confined to competitions. In February 2026, Aneela travelled to the High Arctic and deadlifted outdoors on snow in -23°C, mainly because she was curious to find out what lifting in such an extreme environment would actually feel like. This curiosity has since seen her deadlift on volcanic rock in Lanzarote and, most recently, in 45°C heat in the Dubai desert wearing the iconic Dubai flying dressc
Awards and Recognition
Rose Media Group has won a number of business awards over the years, including ‘Best B2B PR Consultancy in UK’, ‘Employer of the year’, and a ‘Creative Industries Award‘ and has previously been a finalist for ‘Most Outstanding PR Agency’.
In 2026, Rose Media Group is a finalist in the Burgess Hill Business Parks Association Awards in the Micro Business Star category. RMG’s Senior PR Manager, Ree Khan, is also a finalist in the Bright Star category. The winners will be announced on 24th September 2026.
Aneela’s personal recognition includes the ‘Dynamic Inspirational Award’, the ‘More Radio Sporting Excellence Award’ and being a finalist in the Asian Women of Achievement – Sports Award.
