Digital Marketing Manager

£35,000, Full-Time, Permanent, Office-based with flexibility

Are you a digitally savvy communicator with a flair for turning ideas into high-performing content and campaigns? We’re on the hunt for a Digital Content Lead to bring digital expertise and creative direction to our PR team – bridging traditional storytelling with modern platforms to boost our clients’ visibility and impact.

You’ll play a central role in shaping content strategies that resonate across channels, drive engagement and deliver measurable results, whether it’s earned media, SEO-optimised content or outreach campaigns.  Key responsibilities:

 Content strategy and execution

  • Lead content development that fuels PR, SEO, digital outreach and social media engagement
  • Collaborate with PR team to plan and deliver integrated campaign content
  • Develop high-quality blogs, thought leadership, press releases and multimedia assets that earn attention and drive engagement
  • Ensure all content aligns with social media strategies and supports campaign goals across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Meta etc)

Digital PR and outreach

  • Drive earned digital coverage and link-building by securing high-authority placements
  • Build and manage media and influencer relationships to drive brand stories online
  • Use analytics to track campaign performance and continuously improve strategy
  • Stay up-to-date with SEO best practices and Google algorithm changes

Client engagement and management

  • Support PR team with digital strategy insights, reporting and content planning
  • Contribute to client meetings, proposals and presentations with digital-first thinking
  • Identify new tools, platforms and opportunities for clients to grow their online presence

Team support

  • Mentor and guide the team on digital updates, learnings, best practice
  • Champion a culture of creativity and performance across the agency.

 Essential skills and experience:

  • 4+ years’ experience in digital PR, content marketing or SEO-focused roles
  • Proven success in content-led digital outreach and link-building
  • Exceptional writing skills across formats and platforms
  • Proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Mailchimp
  • Strong understanding of SEO, keyword optimisation and content performance
  • Confidence in presenting and reporting results to clients and internal teams
  • Experience mentoring junior team members

Desirable

  • Paid social media campaign experience (LinkedIn, Meta)
  • Working knowledge of CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress)
  • Familiarity with influencer outreach tools and databases
