Job Description:

Social Media Executive

£24,000 per annum, pro-rata – 3 days per week, Office-based

Are you a creative and ambitious Social Media Executive eager to grow with an award-winning agency? We’re looking for a passionate individual who can bring fresh ideas, dynamic energy, and a love for all things social media to our blossoming team.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Content Creation

  • Develop innovative and engaging ideas for social media campaigns across clients and Rose Media’s channels
  • Write captivating social media posts for platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube

Visual and Video Production

  • Create eye-catching visuals, graphics, and reels for social media using tools like Canva, CapCut and similar software.

Social Media Management

  • Monitor and manage social media channels for trends, news, and audience engagement
  • Manage natively and/or use scheduling tools like Hootsuite, Buffer or Later to streamline content publishing and management

Website and Content Support

  • Collaborate on RMG and client website updates and suggest ways to improve performance
  • Source relevant content to enhance social media sharing
  • Provide support to the PR and content team as needed

Performance Reporting

  • Work with Digital PR Manager to analyse campaign performance and compile insightful reports to measure impact and success

Skills and Experience:

Essential

  • Minimum 12 months experience in a professional business environment
  • Proficiency with creative tools like Canva or Adobe Photoshop
  • Using smartphones or cameras for producing videos
  • Excellent writing with impeccable grammar and a knack for crafting catchy headlines
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and content creation best practices – TikTok and Meta are a must.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later or similar).
  • Active engagement with personal social media accounts
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Personable, reliable, and confident in a team setting
  • Competence in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Desirable

  • Experience with WordPress
  • Previous experience in an agency environment
